“So don’t just say you love your wife; reflect that love with your body. It is always easier to talk a good game than to play a good game. Be sure your love is deeper and richer than your words.” -Stephen Arterburn & Fred Stoeker, Every Man’s Marriage
Love is action, gentlemen, that is what the Bible teaches us.
Remember when you and your wife were dating and you would do some chores for her just to see her smile?
What has happened to that? Where has our desire to make life easier on our wives gone? When did the change occur within us that expects her to make life easier for us?
A typical man doesn’t understand how doing the dishes for her can make her feel intimacy, even sexual desire for him, but it does. Besides that, do you realize all she does for you? Actually think about it for a moment and you’ll feel like a freeloading lazy slob.
Show her you love her too by helping out.
“Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” -2 Corinthians 9:6
